LGT works by bringing together local business owners in small, structured groups called “chapters” where members meet weekly to share information about their businesses, build trust, and actively refer business to each other, with the core principle being that by giving referrals to others, you are more likely to receive referrals in return, essentially creating a network of mutual support where only one person per business category is allowed in each chapter to eliminate competition; this creates a system where members actively seek out opportunities to pass on business leads to other members within their network.
